As the correlation between economic development and community development is undeniable, The Bishop & Chase Foundation realizes that in order to have a thriving city-to build a great American city-there must first be a strong focus on economic development; there can be no community development without economic development.
Our economic development work focuses on under-resourced communities. We seek to create jobs within the areas we serve as well as assist in placing community members in higher paying jobs.
Another key aspect to The Bishop & Chase Foundation’s development model is the sustainability plan in which we begin our own businesses to fund our work. The initial venture of The Foundation is our coffee shop, Cuppa Excellence.
